Malaysian Airlines has been classified as a five-star airline by the World Airline Star Ranking program, operated by Skytrax. The ranking has been done on the basis of the quality of service offered and the products. Even after recognizing the fact that the company is moving into losses, the company has been purchasing new air crafts and increasing the fair charges to keep up the standard, but for what reason?
